Next Step? Wait for Release of CUET DU Merit List, Seat Allocation and Admissions
The term “allocated seat” describes the special fusion of college and program. In order to determine the merit scores based on program-specific eligibility, the University of Delhi will take into account a CUET normalization method. A candidate will be tentatively assigned the Highest Possible Preference based on the following criteria:
- Merit specific to the program
- Classification (UR, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS, and Minority)
- Seat availability
- Any further official allocation guidelines, regulations, or standards
Applicants would not be admitted to Delhi University colleges if they do not have caste-supporting documentation.
Candidates must sign in to the DU CSAS dashboard when the results of the DU CSAS allocation are announced in order to accept the seat they have been assigned. The option to accept a seat will only be available during the round in which the candidate is given the seat. The applicant is only allowed to choose one seat if they are granted many seats. No action will be seen as a rejection of the seat that has been temporarily assigned, and the applicant will not be eligible to take part in the DU CSAS UG rounds that follow.
The relevant institution will confirm the applicant’s eligibility and the papers they have uploaded once the student accepts the temporarily assigned seat. Within the allotted time, the institution will confirm the following information:
- Qualifications of the applicant
- Program-specific requirements for eligibility
- Subject mapping: Candidates will only be taken into consideration for CUETUG 2023 Language and/or domain-specific examinations in which they passed Class XII
