The DU UG admission process has undergone significant changes since 2022. Prior to this, students were admitted based on the DU application form, either through entrance exams or merit lists determined by Class XII Board results. However, for DU admission in 2025, the process will rely entirely on the candidate’s CUET 2025 score.
To participate in the admission and counselling process, candidates must register on the official CUET website and follow the step-by-step guidelines provided on the CSAS portal.
The following documents are required for registration on the DU CSAS portal:
The eligibility criteria for DU undergraduate (UG) admissions in 2025 differ from the standard CUET requirements. These criteria are program-specific and set by the university, which applicants must meet to qualify for admission.

No, it is not required. Simply appearing for the CUET is sufficient. After the CUET results are announced, candidates must register on the DU CSAS portal to participate in the undergraduate admission process at DU.
In the event of a tie between two or more students with identical CUET scores who are applying for the same college and course, the class 12th board examination marks (evaluated as the Best of 3, 4, and 5 subjects in order) will be taken into consideration. If the tie persists, the age of the students will serve as the final determining factor, with the older candidate being given preference for the seat.
Students are prohibited from registering multiple times on the CUET application portal using the same email ID or phone number. However, they can rectify any errors by logging into their account and utilizing the “Edit” option available at the end of each session or page. Changes can be made until the “Payment” link is clicked, the registration fee is paid, and the form is submitted. After submitting the CUET application form, no further edits or modifications are likely to be permitted.
In addition to the CUET application fee, candidates must pay a nominal charge for registration on the DU CSAS portal. The fee for the Delhi University CSAS portal can only be paid online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. No offline or cash payment methods are available. Students should ensure they complete payment only through the official payment link provided on the DU CSAS portal.
Delhi University is anticipated to commence its undergraduate admission process for 2025 by launching the DU CSAS Portal in the last week of May 2025.
