• Today, August 7 marks the 82nd death anniversary of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. He was a Bengali poet, novelist, musician, painter, and playwright who significantly transformed Bengali literature and music. He passed away at the age of 80 on August 7, 1941.
