• Yuki Bhambri thrilled with maiden ATP doubles title. The Indian tennis player won his first ATP doubles title at the Bengaluru Open 2023, partnering with Divij Sharan.

• Tamil Nadu regains the top spot in electronic exports in India. The state exported electronic goods worth $10.8 billion in 2022-23, up from $9.8 billion in the previous year.

• Guru Purnima 2023: Celebration, Significance, Sholka and Rituals. Guru Purnima is a Hindu festival that celebrates the guru-disciple relationship. It is observed on the full moon day in the month of Ashadha.

• Government of India reduces GST rate on electronics item. The GST rate on several electronics items, including televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines, has been reduced from 28% to 18%.

भारत सरकार ने इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स आइटम पर जीएसटी दर कम की। टेलीविज़न, रेफ्रिजरेटर और वॉशिंग मशीन सहित कई इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स वस्तुओं पर जीएसटी दर 28% से घटाकर 18% कर दी गई है।

• Tushar Mehta reappointed as Solicitor General of India. Mehta has been reappointed as the Solicitor General of India for a second term. He is the second person to hold the office for two terms in a row.
