• ICC announces equal pay for women's and men's cricket teams. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that it will be equalizing the pay for men's and women's cricket teams from 2023 onwards. This is a significant step towards gender equality in sport, and it is expected to have a major impact on the future of women's cricket.

• India bags 11 medals in World Archery Youth Championships. Indian archers have won a total of 11 medals at the 2023 World Archery Youth Championships, which is being held in Salt Lake City, USA. This is the highest medal tally by India at any World Archery Youth Championships.
  भारत ने विश्व तीरंदाजी युवा चैंपियनशिप में 11 पदक जीते। भारतीय तीरंदाजों ने 2023 विश्व तीरंदाजी युवा चैंपियनशिप में कुल 11 पदक जीते हैं, जो अमेरिका के साल्ट लेक सिटी में आयोजित किया जा रहा है। यह किसी भी विश्व तीरंदाजी युवा चैंपियनशिप में भारत की ओर से सर्वाधिक पदक है।

• India approves amendments to Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act. The Indian government has approved amendments to the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957. These amendments aim to incentivize mineral exploration and development in the country, with a specific focus on minerals such as lithium, gold, and copper.
  भारत ने खान और खनिज (विकास और विनियमन) अधिनियम में संशोधन को मंजूरी दी। भारत सरकार ने खान और खनिज (विकास और विनियमन) अधिनियम, 1957 में संशोधन को मंजूरी दे दी है। इन संशोधनों का उद्देश्य लिथियम, सोना और तांबे जैसे खनिजों पर विशेष ध्यान देने के साथ देश में खनिज अन्वेषण और विकास को प्रोत्साहित करना है।

• Section 144 imposed in flood-prone areas. The Indian government has imposed Section 144 in flood-prone areas of the country. This means that there is a ban on assembly of more than four people in these areas. The move is aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 and ensuring the safety of people during the monsoon season.
  बाढ़ संभावित इलाकों में धारा 144 लागू. भारत सरकार ने देश के बाढ़ग्रस्त इलाकों में धारा 144 लागू कर दी है. इसका मतलब है कि इन इलाकों में चार से ज्यादा लोगों के इकट्ठा होने पर प्रतिबंध है. इस कदम का उद्देश्य COVID-19 के प्रसार को रोकना और मानसून के मौसम के दौरान लोगों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना है।

• PM Modi to be guest of honour for French military parade. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the guest of honour for the Bastille Day military parade in Paris on July 14. This is the first time that an Indian Prime Minister has been invited to be the guest of honour for this event.
  फ्रांसीसी सैन्य परेड के सम्माननीय अतिथि होंगे पीएम मोदी. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 14 जुलाई को पेरिस में बैस्टिल दिवस सैन्य परेड के सम्मानित अतिथि होंगे। यह पहली बार है कि किसी भारतीय प्रधान मंत्री को इस कार्यक्रम के लिए सम्मानित अतिथि बनने के लिए आमंत्रित किया गया है।

• EU agrees to ban most Russian oil imports. The European Union has agreed to ban most Russian oil imports, in a major blow to the Russian economy. The ban will take effect in six months for crude oil and in eight months for refined products.
  यूरोपीय संघ अधिकांश रूसी तेल आयात पर प्रतिबंध लगाने पर सहमत है। रूसी अर्थव्यवस्था को बड़ा झटका देते हुए यूरोपीय संघ अधिकांश रूसी तेल आयात पर प्रतिबंध लगाने पर सहमत हो गया है। कच्चे तेल के लिए प्रतिबंध छह महीने में और रिफाइंड उत्पादों के लिए आठ महीने में प्रभावी होगा।

• The European Investment Bank (EIB) has announced its support for India's National Green Hydrogen Mission by offering a loan facility of up to €1 billion.
  यूरोपीय निवेश बैंक (ईआईबी) ने €1 बिलियन तक की ऋण सुविधा की पेशकश करके भारत के राष्ट्रीय हरित हाइड्रोजन मिशन के लिए अपने समर्थन की घोषणा की है।

• A 'tunicate' fossil has set multiple world records in the field as it represents the first-ever discovery with intact soft tissues and holds the distinction of being the oldest of its kind.
