• The 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27) is taking place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The conference is focused on implementing the Paris Agreement, which aims to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius, preferably to 1.5 degrees Celsius, compared to pre-industrial levels.
