• Mumbai Professor Satyajit Majumdar, dean of School of Management and Labour Studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), has received the ‘Dr V G Patel Memorial Award-2023.

• The G20 Summit is a major international event that will bring together leaders from the world's 20 largest economies. It will be held at the newly built Bharat Mandapam convention centre in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The summit is expected to generate a lot of traffic and security concerns, so the public holidays are being implemented to help ease the burden on the city.
