• UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has announced a dedicated $30 billion fund for global climate solutions, with the goal of addressing financial challenges related to climate issues by 2030.
  संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के राष्ट्रपति मोहम्मद बिन जायद अल नाहयान ने 2030 तक जलवायु मुद्दों से संबंधित वित्तीय चुनौतियों का समाधान करने के लक्ष्य के साथ वैश्विक जलवायु समाधान के लिए 30 अरब डॉलर के समर्पित फंड की घोषणा की है।

• India is set to host a three-day Global Technology Summit (GTS) from December 4 to 6. The summit will bring together government, industry, and academia leaders to discuss the latest technology trends and their potential applications in addressing global challenges.

• The president of COP28, UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment Mariam Almheiri, has urged an end to fossil fuel subsidies, stating that such subsidies distort the market and hinder efforts to combat climate change.
  COP28 के अध्यक्ष, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के जलवायु परिवर्तन और पर्यावरण मंत्री मरियम अल्मेहिरी ने जीवाश्म ईंधन सब्सिडी को समाप्त करने का आग्रह किया है, यह कहते हुए कि ऐसी सब्सिडी बाजार को विकृत करती है और जलवायु परिवर्तन से निपटने के प्रयासों में बाधा डालती है।

• The European Union (EU) has proposed new sanctions on Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine. These sanctions include a ban on Russian gold imports and the freezing of assets belonging to over 100 individuals and entities.
