JNU Admission Form

For the academic year 2025-26, admission to B.A. (Hons.) in Foreign Languages, B.Sc & M.Sc. Integrated Program in Ayurveda Biology and Certificate of Proficiency programs at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will be conducted through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025.

Students with a valid CUET 2025 scorecard can apply for JNU UG admissions. The final selection will be based on CUET merit, making it a mandatory step for admission. Along with CUET registration, candidates must complete registration on the JNU counselling portal to participate in the UG admission process.

Until 2021, JNU conducted its admissions through the JNU Entrance Examination (JNUEE). However, in 2022, CUET replaced JNUEE as the unified entrance test for UG admissions. CUET applies to JNU and serves as the entry point for UG programs in 45 central universities and over 280 universities across India, including state, private, and deemed institutions.

Candidates selected for admission to various undergraduate programs at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) must submit the following certificates and documents at the time of admission/registration:

  • Enrolment Form: Complete and submit the university’s enrolment form.
  • Central Library Application Form: Required for access to library facilities.
  • Photographs: Five recent passport-size photographs.
  • Proof of Age/Date of Birth: Two self-attested copies of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, Pre-University, or equivalent examination certificates.
  • Character Certificate: Obtain this from the Head of the Institution last attended.
  • Academic Records: Two self-attested copies of the statement of marks and passing certificates for 10+2, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or equivalent examinations.
  • Caste Certificate: For candidates belonging to reserved categories (if applicable).
  • Migration Certificate: Original certificate from the institution/university last attended.
  • Anti-Ragging Affidavits: Two signed affidavits confirming adherence to anti-ragging policies.
