National Current Affairs:

• The Supreme Court of India ruled that Coal India Ltd., a
  Public Sector Undertaking, will fall under the purview of the Competition Act,
  2002.
• Apple Inc is planning to introduce its credit card, Apple
  Card, in India in partnership with HDFC bank.
• Lloyds Banking Group intends to establish a technology
  center in Hyderabad, India, to enhance its digital capabilities by 2023.
• The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in India is
  launching a knowledge-sharing platform by the National Highway Authority to
  promote inclusive development of national highways.
• The Indian cabinet approved Micron Technology's $2.7 billion
  investment plan to set up a semiconductor testing and packaging unit in
  Gujarat.

International Current Affairs:

• A deep-sea submersible carrying five people on a voyage to
  the century-old wreck of the Titanic was discovered in pieces due to a
  "catastrophic implosion."
• China and Pakistan signed a $4.8 billion agreement to
  establish a 1,200-megawatt nuclear power plant, strengthening strategic
  cooperation between the two nations.
